Cooperation Agreement with the Ministry of Education
Through an Inter-Institutional Cooperation Agreement, the Ministry of Education of Ecuador recognized the Forest School’s Methodology with the objective of promoting Education for Sustainable Development in the Commonwealth of the Andean Chocó’s territory.
Training for local teachers of the Andean Chocó
Training on the Forest School’s Methodology for local teachers from the Comonwealth of the Andean Chocó, to share experiential education methodologies, learn about ecology of forests, and discuss the importance of conservation and the recognition of the territory of the Commonwealth of the Andean Chocó.
Connection between Forest Schools and Local Schools of the Andean Chocó
The Forest School’s Network seeks to implement an inclusive educational strategy for local education, enhancing local schools, in partnership with the Education District from the northwestern parishes of the Metropolitan District of Quito.
