SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Scholarship Fund’s main objective is to grant scholarships to local students to facilitate their participation in the Forest School’s educational programs. Each scholarship covers the cost of the program, food, transportation, and work materials. The Scholarship Fund feeds on: (1) All people who visit or participate in the Forest School’s workshops, courses and programs, since 5% of all income goes to the Scholarship Fund, and (2) Voluntary donations from NGOs, companies, individuals, or others.
The Fund is managed through the Imaymana Foundation, which is a local non-profit organization that works on conservation and sustainability issues of Andean Chocó.
We thank all people and organizations who contribute to enhancing local education and strengthening human development in the Andean Chocó, and we invite all those committed to education and conservation to visit, participate, and support the Forest School Network so we can continue making a positive impact through each Forest School.
